The Fragrance of Ink

I have liked drawing since I was a child, but I have never received any formal lessons. I have been just doing simple drawings until recently, when I was fortunate enough to be exposed to traditional Chinese painting methods. I have discovered that I appreciate and deeply connect with the charm of traditional culture.

With its unique style and form, Chinese painting has shaped the rich spiritual world and cultural connotation of the Chinese nation. Different brushwork and ink colours can be used to express various themes and creative artistic conceptions. Either ink colour separation or fluid, elegant colours can outline the beauty of nature. Whenever I see the beauty within paintings, I can feel the beauty of nature and am filled with happiness.
