Many years ago, I wanted to sign up for a patchwork course, but enrollment was full at the time. I then decided to sign up for Chinese landscape painting. This was how I developed an interest in colour and ink. Whenever I pick up a paintbrush, the window to the outside world seems to close. The external and internal become calm. There is no noise, no worries, only peace and joy in the soul.
Painting is not about talent. Grandmaster Wang repeatedly reminds us that the Divine Mother is the greatest artist of all, and as Her divine spirit is within us, beauty can be expressed through art with patience and perseverance. I am blessed to have met three great art teachers. Their generosity has guided my brushwork with spirit and life in my paintings of flowers and birds.
Through painting, I have met many people from different fields and made many friends. All these experiences have enriched me as a person. I am grateful to the Tao Field for providing this platform and the opportunity to share my work here.
