Integrating coloured ink with colour consciousness and modern concepts gives art new dimensions of aesthetics and expression. Bringing modern and traditional styles together diversifies the art world. The comprehensive and open exploration of colour brings originality and visual tension. The colours are more varied, and the visual textures are richer.
I have loved painting since I was a child, particularly the painting styles of the Lingnan School. I learned watercolour painting from my teacher, Wang Jincun. In addition to Lingnan painting, Mr. Wang also integrates modern colour ink techniques to create a new, spontaneous, and diverse style of painting. Later, I discovered Mr. Huang Shengliang's water-drying art, and I started to explore various special techniques, presenting visual characteristics that enrich watercolour ink and incorporating different forms of painting styles.
