In the beginning, I learned to draw and paint purely for work. I was not very interested in painting, nor did I know much about it. But I am now very grateful for this job because it has given me the opportunity to explore art. The first thing I learned from art was how to cultivate a peaceful mind. I am a very active person, so sitting still and staying focused are challenging tasks. However, when I paint, I am calm and focused, and unknowingly, I am immersed in the world of painting. It broadens my horizons, deepens my appreciation for things, and gives me a different perspective on things. Through painting, I can experience the wondrous beauty of creation and the boundless mysteries of the Divine Mother. Painting has changed my attitude towards things. Life is very much like painting on a piece of white paper. Sometimes we do not draw well, but as long as we do not give up and have the courage to face and overcome difficulties, then the white paper will be full of many wonderful colours. I am grateful to the grace of Heaven because, through my exploration of drawing and painting, I can see beauty, appreciate beauty, and live in the presence of the beauty around me.
