Taking a photograph is really the moment when your ‘eyes’ see the ‘scene’. There is no time to think, arrange the picture, or have other ideas at the moment. If you have second thoughts or overthink things, the shot you then see is often not the artistic conception you saw the first time. All scenes and moments that touch life are accumulated through many life experiences. When I encounter these moments, I will press the shutter without hesitation, fearing their fleetingness and leaving behind only the beauty of this momentary encounter.
Photography leads me to live in every moment without worrying or thinking too much. If the right thing is right at the moment, do it quickly. If the moment is perfect, seize it. Do not spend too much time evaluating or thinking about the future. Many people remain in the ‘thinking’ stage, but time passes for thinkers who speculate over many things. Fate passes those who are still thinking about life’s moments. This is especially true for shooting photos. As long as you grasp every moment and keep doing it, you will have mastered the skills and techniques necessary to capture every unexpected miracle and surprise you come upon. The biggest insight I have gained from photography is how miraculous and mysterious it is for God to have created the universe. People must not have frames. Nature is so vast and beautiful, and people are a part of nature. We must not use the ‘limited’ brain to limit people’s ‘infinite’ possibilities.
